THE DANCE WORKSHOP
This black history month, participants enjoyed a screening of INTERFERENCE and learned the Nigerian fusion choreography created for The Moment's Project's upcoming creative presentation: Passport.

Nigerian Fusion: Nigerian or Nja Fusion is a contemporary African dance style from Nigeria made of two main dance styles: Shaku Shaku, a new school street style born of out the streets of Lagos Nigeria, and Konto, an older dance style which started in the 1980s in Ajegunle Lagos, which inspirations from Jamaican culture and Reggae.

Kemi OG
Creative Director, Choreographer
Kemi OG is a dance artist, choreographer, instructor, and creative director. She is the Afrodance Instructor for the Institute of Contemporary Dance, and the founder/Creative Director of the Moments Project.
